Specialty powder coatings such as non-skid or pebbled finishes, metal flakes, pearlescent finishes, and chrome-look finishes are gaining popularity. A powder coated finish will resist peeling, cracking and scuffing for years. Because the flexibility, corrosion and impact resistance of powder coating is typically much better than conventional wet paint finishes, the range of suitable applications is enormous.
